Teaching English in Korean public high schools: thinking out loud.

I am mentally processing my days here in InCheon NonHHyun High School—nearly all day long every day.

After one month of teaching English conversation, I must say the negative feelings nearly outweigh the positive.  I am one of those mythic characters that has fallen in love with my adopted expatriate home, so my appreciation of the positive moments is very high.  I worry about the depth of negative thinking that regular expats teaching here might feel.

I want to use this space to capture my observations and musings without getting too bound up by trying to offer fully considered assessments.

So I start this space by stating my Standard Disclaimer:  I’m just thinking out loud here.
